MSME in Shan State: Chief Minster holds meeting for development

Shan State Government held a meeting on development of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) at its office in Taunggyi Township.

In this meeting, Chief Minister Dr. Kyaw Tun highlighted the guidance of the Prime Minister which is to focus on 12 kinds of MSME out of 23 and livestock and fishery sectors. Since Shan State has a large land area, the development of additional farming zones will also be implemented.

The Chief Minister called on attendees to make efforts for development of micro, small and medium enterprises. The meeting continued with attendees reporting and discussing on the MSME process in the region, and the Chief Minister coordinated the discussions.
