MSME Development: Awareness events for MSME development

MSME awareness event took place as back-to-back program with MSME Products Expo and Market Exhibition at the command office of the expo venue in Nay Pyi Taw.

Chairman of MSME development committee, Union Minister for industry Dr. Charlie Than, Union Minister and Deputy Minister for agriculture livestock and irrigation U Min Naung and Dr. Tin Htut and concerned officials attended the event.

During the event, Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation Dr Tin Htut urged to produce quality seed, and called Agricultural specialists and farmers to make collaboration for agriculture sector development. He also pledged to provide assistance for MSME development efforts.

The officials later made discussion, focusing on agriculture development, oil crop farming, development of garment sector through production of cotton, threads, and fabric, and the status of bamboo cultivation. Attendees also raised questions and officials provide detailed explanation.

Later, Union Minister U Min Naung and Union Minister Dr Charlie Than made discussions. In the afternoon, an awareness ceremony for MSME products ownership was held with the attendance of Union Minister Dr Charlie Than and Union Minister for Commerce U Chit Swe and officials.
