Mori, Cho, Sherman discuss trilateral cooperation in Tokyo

Japan's Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs Takeo Mori met his South Korean counterpart Cho Hyundong and the U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman on Tuesday in Tokyo.

This marks the second in-person meeting of the three officials since the conservative South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol took office in May, signaling an improvement in ties between Japan and South Korea.

Sherman is currently visiting Tokyo to demonstrate the country's commitment to the region and their allies Japan and South Korea.
