Monsoon Trees Planting: Ministry of Commerce Plants 2,200 Trees

The Ministry of Commerce held its Monsoon Trees Planting Ceremony on Wednesday in Nay Pyi Taw.

At the land plot in front of the Building No.52 at the Ministry,  Union Minister Dr. Pwint San, Deputy Minister U Nyunt Aung, permanent secretary, directors general, deputy directors general and staff planted 2,200 trees including teak trees.

In addition to the trees planted in designated places at the ministries in Nay Pyi Taw, over 10,000 trees will be planted along the Yangon-Mandalay Highway and over 100,000 trees along other roads throughout Myanmar under the 2021 monsoon tree planting programme of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation.
