At this day, seven species of trees with a total of 1,000 saplings will be planted collectively in the form of a public movement. The benefits of these plantings will be enjoyed by future generations, he emphasized, and this is indeed a good inheritance being left for them.

He added that today’s tree-planting ceremony is an auspicious occasion for the region, and expressed gratitude to all who participated. Afterward, the SSPC Chairman and his wife led the planting of Neem saplings at the designated places.

Then, the Secretary of the Commission, Joint Chief Executive General Ye Win Oo, Union Ministers, the Chief Minister of Magway Region, senior officials, and attendees also planted saplings simultaneously.
