MOEP Monsoon Sports: Winners of football, volleyball &Sepak Takraw awarded

The Ministry of Electric Power organized Monsoon Sports Competitions for the staff. The winners of the competitions were awarded at the prize presentation ceremony, held at Wunna Theikdi Stadium in Nay Pyi Taw on Sunday.

Union Minister U Thaung Han said the competitions aims to recruit outstanding athletes who would represent the Ministry and take part in football, volleyball and Sepak Takraw events in the upcoming Prime Minister Cup Sports Competitions.

The Union Minister urged the athletes to strive to become the national level selected players who can bring honour to the country.  The Union Minister and officials later presented prizes to the winning teams at the men’s football, Sepak Takraw and women and men volleyball competitions.
