Moe Yun GyiWetlands Resort: Preparations to provide better services forvisitors

Moe Yun GyiWildlife Sanctuary and Wetlands Resort in Bago Region is teeming with explorers and visitors during the travel season. In the winter season, about 80 to 100 visitors pay a visit to Moe Yun GyiWildlife Sanctuary and Wetlands Resort and about 300 visitors come to relax in the weekends.  More than 580 visitors came to relax and study the bird species on Christmas and arrangements are being made to provide good services for the visitors there on New Year Day.

Moe Yun GyiWildlife Sanctuary covers about 25,600 acres and received the international recognition as the first Ramsar site of Myanmar in November 2014.Being the flight path of migration birds from the East Asia and Australia Region and a major conservation area for endangered bird species, Moe Yun GyiWildlife Sanctuary is conserved to provide livelihoods of the locals and for its long-term sustainability.
