Model plot demonstration: Rakhine State CM observed the demonstration

Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin, along with members of the state government and departmental officials, visited the Nandarama Pariyatti Sarthintaik Monastery in Sittwe on June 17 and paid homage to the Presiding Sayadawgyi Abhidhaja Maha Rattha Guru Bhaddanta Nandasiri Maha Thera , and supplicated religious affairs.

Following that, the Chief Minister and officials made offerings to the Sayadawgyi, cash donation, rice and alms food, and other offertories.

Next, the Chief Minister and officials attended and gave remarks at a model field demonstration event at Pyitawtha Farm in Sittwe. The model plot was cultivated under the supervision of the Rakhine State Government to showcase best practices for achieving high-yield monsoon paddy production.

At the event, the Head of Agriculture Department presented an explanation of the current status and implementation of the model plot.

Subsequently, the Chief Minister, government officials, departmental representatives, and participating farmers observed various agricultural demonstrations including Seed broadcasting by schoolgirls from No.1 Agricultural and Livestock High School in Sittwe using the broadcasting method, paddy planting using planting trays and a rice transplanter, application of green manure fertilizer by the Department of Agricultural Mechanization through power tillers.

Officials from the Department of Agriculture, provided explanations at each demonstration site.
