







To commemorate the 75th Diamond Jubilee Independence Day, two mobile medical units provided healthcare services to social security insured workers at ShwePyi Thar Industrial Zone and Mingalardone Industrial Zone on 16th December and the Deputy Minister for Labor U Win Shein and Yangon Region Minister for Ethnic Affairs U Saw Jat Kaw Htoo and officials made necessary coordination.
To provide better healthcare services to social security insured workers, mobile medical units services are organized by the collaboration of social security board under the Ministry of Labor and Industrial Zone Management Committee.
Thant Zaw Min, Staff Officer, Social Security Office, Mingalardone Township said "The Social Security Board (SSB) implements the Social Security Project providing health care and benefits to over 1.2 million insured workers in 116 townships at three workers’ hospitals, 96 township SSB clinics, 57 departmental clinics, 12 free for service clinics with PPS system, 25 Capitation payment clinics, eight obstetric clinics one traditional medicinal clinic and also offering treatment with two mobile medical units. Plans are underway to provide medical services to social security insured workers in Hlaing Thar Yar Township on 20th December. "
Dr. Htet Eain Chel, Medical Officer said "We are providing healthcare services to social security insured workers. We also take blood testing and we have necessary medical equipment including ECG machine in medical units. "
Hla Myo Sandar, General Manager, Royal Dragon Company said "We collaborate with the social security board under Ministry of Labor to provide healthcare services to social security insured workers. We open 4 clinics with the collaboration of social security board in Tarmwe, Insein, North Dagon and Htantapin Townships. After providing healthcare services in Yangon Region, we will continue to provide healthcare services in Bago Region."
Healthcare services are provided to improve the production sector of the nation and to fulfill the needs of the workers and their families.
