Mobile Medical Treatment: Free Health Care Services Provided To Insured Workers

Jointly organized by the Social Security Board of the Ministry of Labor and TawWinNagar Company, health care services are provided to registered workers of Social Security Board(SSB).

On 10th May, under the supervision of Yangon Region Ethnic Affairs Minister U Saw Jet Kaw Htoo and officials, Mobile Medical Unit provided free health care services to insured workers of SSB in ThaduKan Industrial zone, ShwePyiThar Township, Yangon Region.

With the aim to produce healthy human resources and to raise health education knowledge for insured workers, Social Security Board is providing medical treatments with Mobile Medical Unit.

Ye Zaw Win, Deputy Director, Yangon Region Social Security Board said “As the Social Security Board, we are providing effective health care services to enjoy fully medical treatment for insured workers. There are over 3,000 registered departments and more than 750,000 SSB membership workers in Yangon Region.”

The Social Security Board is performing health care services in 2 workers’ hospitals. 22 Social Security clinics, registered enterprises clinics, departmental clinics and mobile medical units to insured workers with the cooperation of Social Security Board and as the joint venture with TawWinNagar Company.

Medical In-charge said “The diseases most of the employees suffered here are muscle pain due to working all day. It can be cured if they take vitamins regularly and eat and sleep well. We provide health care services to patients such as blood pressure and body weight measures and ECG test. If workers are healthy, they can able to work well so that it will benefit to growing business of the factories and so also will provide development of the country.”

Social Security project supports to boost productivity of the country. Social Security Board also provides financial benefits to registered workers and also to get effective and fast medical treatment.
