MINPS convocation: MINPS holds its 26th Convocation

The Military Institute for Nursing and Paramedical Sciences (MINPS) held the 26th Convocation Thursday afternoon in Mingaladon Township, Yangon.

At the ceremony, the commandant Brig-Gen Win Bo presented degree certificates to 53 B.NSc graduates, five B.Pharm graduates, five B.Med Tech graduates, five graduates in radiology and imaging techniques, five graduates in Physiotherapy and two graduates in prosthetics and orthopaedic technology.

The commandant then allowed them to wear uniforms corresponding to their degrees, signed the convocation record book and delivered the convocation speech. The Military Institute for Nursing and Paramedical Sciences has been holding convocations since 2003.

To date, the institute has conferred PhDs in Nursing Science on 28 students, the Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Education on 278 students, the Master of Science in Nursing on 429 students, the Master in Pharmacology and Medical Technology on 204 students, the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Bridge on 113 students, Diploma in Medical Ultrasound Diagnostics on 16 students, Diploma in Intensive-Care Nursing on 22 students, Diploma in Surgical Nursing on 65 students, Bachelor in Nursing Science on 3,269 students, Bachelor in Pharmacology on 218 students, and Bachelor in Medical Technology on 649 students.
