Micro-Marathon: Ygn Region Government organizes the event

Hailing the 75th Diamond Jubilee Independence Day, the Yangon Region Government organized Micro-Marathon in Botahtaung District on Tuesday morning.

The runners gathered in front of the Ministers’ Office on Thein Phyu road and an official of the Organizing Committee opened fire to kick off the race.

The participants ran from TheinPhyu Road, along strand Road to Maw Tin in Lanmadaw Township and then ended in front of the ministers' office.

The Region Minister for Security and Border Affairs Col. Win Tin and the regional ministers, Chairman of Botahtaung District Administrative Body and members, members of Maternal and Child Welfare Association, the Women’s Affairs Federation, students and the Red Cross Society members encouraged the event.

It was followed by prize awarding ceremony and the Region Minister for Security and Border Affairs, the Regional Ministers and officials presented cash awards to the winners in the respective categories and cordially greeted the runners.
