Mexico City authorities on Friday continued relocating some of the nearly 200 lions, tigers, jaguars and other exotic big felines after police officers raided a sanctuary property almost 2 weeks ago.

Dozens of heavily armed officers executed a search at the "Black Jaguar White Tiger" animal sanctuary in early July after images of malnourished, distressed and injured lions circulated on social media.

The founder of the reserve had told local media that he had rescued some of the animals and that some of them had arrived in poor condition. Monkeys, dogs, donkeys and coyotes have been already moved to other shelters.
