Mexicans flock to buy eclipse glasses ahead of the solar eclipse

Dozens of Mexicans line up to buy protective glasses in anticipation of the solar eclipse that will take place on April 8th.

These certified glasses, sold by the government for 88 Mexican pesos each, are only available at three points of sale throughout the city. They line up about an hour and a half to get the glasses to see the eclipse on Monday. People in Mexico are preparing to be able to see eclipse next Monday because it is a very important event after all the years that have passed and something that can’t be seen every day.
