







The opening ceremony of Pindaya Township Natural Disaster Management Department Warehouse and information center implemented with the Mekhong-Lancang Cooperation Special Funding (2021) was held in Pindaya Township, Shan State in the morning on November 28.
The Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr. Thet Thet Khine, Shan State Chief Minister Dr. Kyaw Tun, deputy minister U Aung Tun Khaing, Shan State government ministers, chairman and members of Danu Self-Administered Zone, permanent secretary, director generals, Vice Chairman of National Coordination Agency deputy director general U Win Zayyar Tun for Mekhong-Lancang Cooperation, head of mission of the embassy of People’s Republic of China and officials attended the ceremony.
At the ceremony, the Union Minister, Chief Minister, deputy minister, head of mission of the embassy of the People’s Republic of China, chairman of Danu Self-Administered Zone opened the warehouse and information center by cutting the ceremonial ribbon.
Next, the union minister, chief minister, head of mission of the embassy of China, Vice Chairman of National Coordination Agency opened the signboard of warehouse and information center by pressing the auto button, attendees sprinkled the inscription and took the documentary photo. In the second part of the opening ceremony, the union minister, chief minister, head of mision of the chinese embassy, Mekhong-Lancang Cooperaton national coordination agency vice chair gave the remark.
Then, the deputy minister U Aung Tun Khaing and head of mision of the Chinese embassy exchanged memorable gifts and the ceremony was concluded after expressing words of thanks by the Chairman of Danu Self-Administered Zone. Later, the Union Minister Dr. Thet Thet Khaing and members visited Pindaya Pre-school opened by the department of social welfare, state head officer of social welfare department and in-charge principal clarified the status of accepting and teaching the 100 children, the union minister inspected the pre-school and gave necessary instructions, it’s learnt.
