Meeting with staff and townselders: Senior General discussed for development works

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met with departmental personnel and townselders from KengTung and MongPing Townships in Shan state (East) and KhoLam Township in Shan State (South) on separate occasions on Thursday.

Officials reported on preventive measures for COVID-19, regional development works, building and renovation of roads and bridges, issuance of national registration cards, efforts for normal operation of border trade, boosting agriculture produces, the needs of  natural fertilizer, livestock breeding tasks, preparations for export, the needs for hydropower projects, upgrading of hospitals and the requirements for  regional development. 

The Union Ministers explained the work implementations for development works including transportation, education, religious and health care services. The Senior General discussed that every national race has long history, and during the independence struggle, there are many national race leaders who contributed for the national interest, and their history needed to be well documented. 

He stressed that priorities have been made for prosperity of the nation and food sufficiency and at the same time, efforts will be made for establisment of the union based on democracy and federal system.
