Meeting with Families: Commander-in-Chief meets with Tatmadawmen

Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services General Ye Win Oo met with military officers, Tatmadawmen and families of Magway Station on Wednesday.

During the meeting, the Commander-in-Chief discussed the importance of capacity building to ensure capable Tatmadaw in order to defend the nation. He also stressed the crucial role of military skill, organizational skill and administrative skill, ensuring unity in the Tatmadaw and building trust with the public.

He emphasized to implement welfare activities including, provision of incentives, foodstuff and other items as well as for accommodation, transportation, education and health services. He urged all to strive for better serve of the national defence duty and for the interest of the people.

Then, the Commander-in-Chief and wife presented foodstuff and cash rewards for the military officers, Tatmadawmen and families as well as for the maternal and welfare association. After the meeting, the Commander-in-Chief and party inspected the chosen site for construction of basic education middle school, and construction site of stadium at the local air base.
