Meeting in Coco Kyun : SSPC Chairman meets with local community

Acting President and Chairman of State Security and Peace Commission Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met with the departmental personnel and townselders in Coco Kyun Township of Yangon Region on Saturday.

The Township Administrator and officials reported on the preparation measures for the election, awareness programs for using Myanmar Electronic Voting Machines (MEVM), implementation of agriculture and livestock works, water distribution, power supply, sports, education and health sectors, as well as regional development works and cottage industry.

The Union Ministers explained the plans for development of Coco Kyun including cooperative works, cottage industries, agriculture, health, communication and education sectors. The Commission Chairman discussed that Coco Kyun has been in progress and urged all to make cooperation for development of their region.

He stressed the importance of ensuring food sufficiency, while implementing for farmlands reclamation, livestock breeding, employment creation and urban development works. He also highlighted the need to produce value-added products, to boost production, to develop tourism industry and to promote education and health sector.

He called for cooperation of all local communities for development of the region. During the meeting, foodstuff and stationary were provided for the locals, departmental staff and the basic education high school.
