Meeting with 10th WWF Director

The Committee for Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Agency of the House of Representatives held a meeting with the Director of 10th World Water Forum-WWF last week in Indonesia. The meeting was held to discuss preparation for a series of activities at the WWF, which will be held in Bali from 18th to 25th May. 

In the meeting, the Committee Chairman said that in the 2024 WWF, there will be declaration of a joint commitment regarding water. This commitment does not come from one particular country, or one particular group, or one government or from the Indonesian parliament. There are at least 138 countries that have confirmed to participate in the 10th WWF, with 51 countries among them representing global parliaments and international organizations.
