Medical Training: Shan State Chief Minister attends opening ceremony

The opening of Shan State (Southern) Pharmacist Grade-4 (X-Ray/Compounder) and Inspector Grade-4 (Medical Record) course was held at the Shan State Health Department office in Taunggyi on Tuesday.

At the ceremony, Shan State Chief Minister Dr Kyaw Tun said that the Medical Service Department will conduct 6-month course to fill Medical Pharmacist Grade-4 (X-Ray/Compounder) and Inspector Grade-4 (Medical Record) who are vacant in the hospitals by providing human resources.

By fulfilling human resources, treatment service of public hospitals, replenishment of drugs and medical equipment, diagnosis and providing the correct information of the hospital will improve.

He urged the trainees to carefully learn the subjects taught at the training to provide the best service in public health care. Head of Shan State Medical Service and Public Health Department explained about the purpose of opening the training and the rules to be followed.

71 trainees will attend the 6-month course to fill the vacancies in 67 hospitals under Shan State Medical Service Department, Sao San Tun Hospital and Women and Children Hospital. The course will be conducted practically and theoretically at Sao San Tun Hospital.
