Medical Conference: Local & foreign experts read out 20 research papers

The 29thMyanmar Military Medical Conference organized by the Defence Services Medical Research and Development Committee was opened on 9th May via virtual system at the 1000-bed Defence Services Hospital in Nay Pyi Taw and the Defence Services Orthopaedic Hospital (500 Bedded) in Mingaladon Township, Yangon, simultaneously.

Adjutant General Lt-Gen General Myo ZawThein of the Office of Commander in Chief (Army)gave an opening speech in the ceremony.  

In the conference, the Director of the Directorate Medical Services gave an opening speech. After that, local and foreign experts read out 20 research papers on Obstetrics & Gynecology, Ear, Nose& Throat therapy, Surgery, Nursing and Microbiology and so on.

A total of 386 participants from 1000-bed Defence Services Hospital and the 500-bed Defence Services Orthopaedic Hospital attended the conference in person and 547 medical professors, doctors and nurses from each medical units attended the event on line that will be held till 11th May.
