In the evening on Thursday, the vegetables, fruits, meat, fishes and eggs harvested from the farmed owned by departments under the ministry were sold, it’s learnt.
In addition, the necessary arrangements are being made to open a tax free market where the own cultivators, breeders and private farms can sell their products in wholesale and retail prices.
In the morning on Thursday, the Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Tin Htut Oo and officials inspected cold storage factory near Myoma market and the site where a new market of agricultural and livestock breeding products to be sold in wholesale and retail prices will be opened and the agricultural products market center cold storage warehouse near Pubbathiri market, Nay Pyi Taw.
The necessary arrangements are being made to be able to open above-mentioned tax-free market where only the own cultivators, breeders and private farms will be permitted to sell their products in wholesale and retail prices on September 10 Saturday and the mobile market vehicles will also sell the commodities at the staff housings, and offices.
