Many enjoy open day at military camp

To celebrate the 29th anniversary of Hong Kong’s return to the motherland, the People’s Liberation Army Hong Kong Garrison is opening three military camps for the public to visit over two consecutive weekends.

The open day features a variety of military training demonstrations, including helicopter rescue drills. There are also experience zones where visitors can try hands-on activities such as pipe bandaging, shooting, and knot-tying, with soldiers on-site providing guidance. The event has attracted many families, students and tourists to visit.
