Maldives and Pakistan pledge to strengthen ties

The newly appointed High Commissioner of Pakistan to the Maldives, Vice Admiral (Retd.) Faisal Rasul Lodhi, has called on Maldivian Foreign Minister Dr Abdulla Khaleel to discuss enhancing bilateral relations and mutual cooperation. Discussions focused on ways to further strengthen and diversify the brotherly relations that exist between the two countries.

Dr Khaleel thanked the Government of Pakistan for the continued support and assistance provided in the areas of human resource development. The High Commissioner assured his commitment to working closely with the Maldivian government to enhance collaboration in areas that are of mutual benefit to both countries.
