Malaysia & Kazakhstan ready to strengthen ties

Malaysia and Kazakhstan have agreed to continue strengthening their ties and exploring new areas of cooperation.

The agreement was reached during Malaysia’s Prime Minister Ibrahim meeting with Kazakhstan President Tokayev at the Ak Orda Presidential Palace in Astana on Thursday, which was followed by a bilateral meeting of their respective delegations.

The meeting broadly discussed cooperation between the two countries, covering sectors such as trade, investment, higher education and tourism.
