Myanmar Agricultural Development Bank (Pyinmana Branch), Nay Pyi Taw has been disbursing more than 450 million Kyats of winter crops loans to over 1,100 farmers since 6th October. As Pyinmana Bank Branch, it has earmarked to disburse more than 450 million Kyats of loans to more than 1,100 farmers in 7 village tracts in Pyinmana.
According to the official from Myanmar Agricultural Development Bank (Pyinmana Branch), 71.1 million kyats loans have been disbursed to 153 farmers in Zi Phyu Pin village since 6th October. Plans are being made to continue ldisbursing to the rest of the village tracts. The interest rate is at 5%. The winter loan disbursing period is from October to December. The loan repayment must be at the harvest season and the last payment period is 15th September of next year.
As for winter crops, loans are being disbursed for rice, sunflower, mung bean, black beans and various kinds of beans and black beans for Pyinmana village tract. For 2022 monsoon crops, Pyinmana bank has lent over 2.5 billion kyats of loans to 4,314 farmers from 96 village tracts.
Myanmar Agricultural Development Bank is looking forward to provide loans for farmers’ convenience at low interest rate.
