LMC Media Conference: Financial Media Interconnection and Innovation

With the theme: "Financial Media Interconnection and Innovation Cooperation", the Lancang Mekong Media Joint Conference was held online at Tencent Conference in Beijing on 28th December.

The conference was organized by Guangxi Radio and Television of the People's Republic of China. The year 2022 marks the 6th Anniversary of the start of the Lancang-Mekong cooperation (LMC). The LMC was established with an aim to assist regional efforts to achieve sustainable inclusive development and narrowing development gaps in the region, while promoting peace and prosperity.

Meanwhile, significant development in multiple sectors can be witnessed among the six countries in the Lancang-Mekong River Basin of China, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam. The LMC has increasingly become one of the most dynamic cooperative mechanisms in the sub-region.

Accordingly, the LMC projects constantly deepen good neighborliness, advance pragmatic cooperation and improve people's well-being in the spirit of extensive consultation, joint contribution and shared benefits.

The conference discussed financial media interconnection and innovation cooperation which is an effective platform to promote exchanges between media from the Lancang-Mekong countries, making its contributions to the joint building of a closer LMC Community with a shared future.
