Limited flights have resumed from Turkey's main airport following a temporary closure due to heavy snowstorms. Flights had been suspended for safety reasons after the roof of a cargo facility at Istanbul airport collapsed from the weight of the snow.  The metropolis of some 16 million people has experienced heavy snowfall. Officials have said the snowfall around Istanbul would continue until Thursday and urged people not to venture out in private cars unless necessary.
