








The opening ceremony of a seminar for disseminating legal knowledge to civil service officers was held in the morning of March 16 at the Khaing Thazin Hall in Sittwe of Rakhine State. The event was attended by Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin, who delivered an opening address.
The State Chief Minister stated that everyone is aware that law serves as a lifeline and a main pillar for a country and every citizen. He explained that the law defines the duties that every citizen must follow and the rights they are entitled to enjoy. He emphasized that for civil servants to properly fulfill their duties under relevant laws, they need to have constant legal awareness and legal mindfulness, and today's seminar would greatly contribute to this objective.
Subsequently, Rakhine State Advocate General U Hla Thein explained the purpose of organizing the legal knowledge dissemination seminar. The State Chief Minister and officials then cordially met and greeted the attendees.
Following this, Rakhine State Advocate General U Hla Thein lectured and discussed matters related to the dissemination of legal knowledge.
In the afternoon, Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin attended and delivered an opening address at a coordination meeting for the inauguration of the Sittwe Township entrance gateway, held at the Rakhine State Government Office meeting hall.
Afterwards, responsible officials respectively reported on the proposed arrangements for organizing the entrance gateway inauguration ceremony. The State Minister for Natural Resources supplemented the reports with explanations, followed by discussions and suggestions from State Government members and attendees.
The State Chief Minister responded to the presentations and discussions, and delivered a concluding speech, It is reported.
