At least 28 killed in multiple landslides in India

At least 28 people have been killed and several others missing in multiple landslides triggered by rain as an impact of cyclone Remal in different parts of Indian northeastern State of Mizoram.

Officials said that incessant rains on Monday and Tuesday triggered landslides at several other places in the state causing damage to more than 16 houses. A refugee camp and crop areas have been submerged by the flood of Tut river in Mamit district.
