Learning Through Arts: Painting Illustrations Portray On The School Wall

Mwe Taw Middle School in Mong Pan Township organized a 2-day activity for the arts students of the school.

Led by the School Welfare Committee, the activity of drawing poems, multiplications and teaching aid illustrations were carried out on the inside wall of the school compound.

Vice Chairman, School Welfare Committee, Sai Kwan Khan said “We have strong human resources in our township. With the use of this strength, we organized this activity for the children to possess team work spirit. Since there are teaching aid illustrations inside the classrooms, we decided to portray the paintings on the inside wall of the school fence. It could also make notice to the students of these painting illustrations as teaching aids whenever they come to school or during their playtime.”

Apart from the new generation art students, the painting enthusiasts and old students were also invited to participate in the activity. The accessories needed for drawing were also provided by the School Welfare Committee.

Old Student, Nam Muo Sein said “The aim of this picture is that we can get achievements like becoming graduated and professionals of we try hard. And also the students can learn easily the meanings just by seeing these emoji.” 

The painting illustration activity was conducted for 2 days from 26th to 27th of June at the Mwe Taw Middle School which is located in the western part of Mong Pan Township in Southern Shan State.
