Lavrov reiterates Moscow's demands to Ukraine

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Wednesday reiterated Moscow's demands in Ukraine in order to end hostilities, including recognition of the breakaway Donbas republics and "denazification."Lavrov maintained that Ukrainians will be allowed to choose their way forward after the end of the conflict.

He also stressed that Russia was not isolated, but had numerous friends and allies on the international stage.Envoys from Ukraine and Russia are expected to meet Thursday in Belarus for a second round of talks aimed at ending the fighting.
