It was said by Chairman of the Central Farmland Management Committee Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Tin Htut Oo at the 7th work coordination meeting of the Committee in Nay Pyi Taw on Monday.
At the meeting, the Union Minister discussed management for issuing crop and farmland compensation to land owners and farmers regarding the lands that were used in the projects for the benefit of the state and the people in line with the law without delay. For the food sufficiency, encouragements will be made for improving the production of fish and meat sectors as well as crop cultivation and production in agriculture sector.
The Union Minister stressed the needs on systematic storage of products and supporting for systematic land use in accordance with legal procedures to construct more advanced factories and workshops to be able to produce value-added products from the situation that rice, beans, meat and fish products are exported as raw materials to foreign markets. An official read out the matters to be discussed at the meeting and attendees discussed the work implementation sector by sector.
