



The Vacant, Fallow and Virgin Land Management Central Committee held the meeting 8/2022 on Friday in Nay Pyi Taw.
In this meeting, Union Minister U Hla Moe highlighted the guidance of the State Administration Council which is to develop agricultural and livestock sector and to promote MSME products and develop the local economy with local raw materials of agricultural and livestock products.
In the implementation of the guidance, the land that can be used for agriculture and livestock sector is being managed to be fully utilized, the Union Minister added. And, the vacant, fallow and virgin land-related matters were presented and attendees made discussions on the matters.
It’s learnt that from the time of the previous government to the current period, about 1.6 million vacant, fallow and virgin lands were reclaimed as the users did not follow the laws and by-laws.
