Korean NASA ‘Korea AeroSpace Administration KASA’ launch

The opening ceremony of Korea AeroSpace Administration (KASA) was held in Sacheon.

In this event, South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol said the nation will push for a space project to plant a national flag on Mars by 2045. The day KASA opened on 27th of May has also been designated the Aeronautics and Space Day in a bid to further advance dreams for the space era.

Yoon also promised all-out support for the space and aeronautics industry and for the cultivation of expert talent. After KASA’s launching ceremony, the government unveiled a blueprint for the country to become one of the top five global powers in aerospace by the year 2045.
