

Japanese Prime Minister Kishida has pledged to step up efforts to hold a summit with North Korean leader Kim in order to bring back all Japanese citizens abducted by North Korea.
Speaking at a rally organized by victims' relatives on Saturday in Tokyo, Kishida said the government will do all it can to bring the victims home as soon as possible.
He added it's important for top leaders to form a relationship that enables them to speak frankly to tackle difficult issues. And he will step up efforts through various channels to advance high-level talks under his direct command to realize a summit.
