Kim, Russian minister agree to boost military ties

Russian Defence Minister Andrei Belousov met with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un on Friday and agreed to boost military cooperation between the two nations, state media said.

The two countries signed a strategic partnership treaty in June which was ratified recently, providing for mutual military assistance in case of an attack.Belousov also held talks with his North Korean counterpart No Kwang Chol, in which Belousov expressed the willingness to further expand the mutually beneficial cooperation in the complicated international situation.
