Kayin New Year Festival: SAC Member attends ceremony in Pantanaw Township

Member of the State Administration Council [SAC] Mahn Nyein Maung attended the Kayin New Year Festival of the 2762 Kayin Era in Myaynu Village of Pantanaw Township in Ayeyawaddy Region on Thursday.

This Festival began with Vice Chairman of the township Kayin Literature and Culture Association Mahn Thein Aung making a speech. And, SAC Member Mahn Nyein Maung read out the message sent by Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing to the ceremony of Kayin New Year Day.

The SAC Member also highlighted discussion for perpetual peace, socioeconomic development through unity of Kayin ethnics and measures to develop traditions and culture of Kayin people.  Also, Ayeyawaddy Region Chief Minister U Tin Maung Win and the South-West Command Commander made remarks.

And, Secretary of the township Kayin Literature and Culture Association read out the message sent by Union Minister for Ethnic Affairs, and Chairman of the association delivered remarks.

On the same day, in Nyaungdon Township, the SAC Member made inspections of dairy production farm, fish farms, cold storage processes, animal feed manufacturing processes and natural fertilizer production.
