Recently, social media and some illegal media posted misinformation regarding Kaung For You illegal online education program with the arrangement of NUG terrorist group.
Soon after the security forces detained Kaung For You school in-charge and his two companions, those illegal media threaten those who are going to work at Kaung For You and those students' parents to flee from their current places.
In response to the question, leader of SAC Information Team Maj-Gen Zaw Min Tun explained that the government has been making efforts to open all schools across the country. Even during the COVID-19 period, the schools are opened with the prevention guidelines.
For the promotion of national education, free of charge education is rendered while providing teaching aids under the inclusive education program.
Because of the instigation of NUG terrorist group, some teachers were pressured to join the CDM. However, the government accepted the return of CDM teachers in line with civil service rule not to hamper the education sector.
The Maj-Gen said that no action will be taken to those students and parents for attending that illegal school of Kaung For You in Aung Pan, Shan State. Relating the arrest of three persons from that illegal school, the PDF media asked the students and their parents that the government will arrest them so that they can flee where some EAOs are inviting them to take refuge in their place.
The Maj-Gen also added that the government is receiving those who have been charged under section 505(A) of the Penal Code and PDF members who have no committed crimes.
Nearly 250 PDF members who have committed no crimes nor offences were handed over to their parents and guardians. With strong commitment towards a multi-party democracy system, the Tatmadaw has been endeavoring for the nation-building tasks.
That’s why, no action to be taken to those parents and students who have been persuaded except those who lead and involve in crimes and those who are pushing the youths to the wrong path. The Maj-Gen also called on the parents to guide their children’s education in correct way.
