Judo Competition: 2026 Regions and States Judo Men/ Women Competition

Aiming to strengthen nation’s health sector, to enhance existing friendly relations among athletes, to nurture new generation Judo athletes, and to promote Myanmar’s Judo standard, 2026 Regions and States Judo Men/ Women Competition is taking place at Wunna Theikdi Stadium in Nay Pyi Taw.

Chairman of Myanmar Olympic Committee, Union Minister for Sports Affairs U Ye Myint Tun attended the opening ceremony and delivered opening remarks. The Union Minister underscored the purpose of the competition and elaborated on unwavering efforts and significant outcomes of Myanmar Judo athletes in international competitions, and called for concerted efforts of relevant individuals to sustain this legacy of excellence.

The 2026 Regions and States Judo Men/ Women Competition is scheduled to take place from 8 to 11 September, with 238 athletes representing 15 men’s teams and 14 women’s teams from across regions and states.
