Japan's Foreign Minister meets his Belgian counterpart Lahbib

Japanese Foreign Minister Yoshimasa Hayashi met with his Belgian counterpart HadjaLahbib on Monday in Tokyo.

Lahbib’s visit is part of a so-called Belgian Economic Mission which is being led by Her Royal Highness Princess Astrid of the Kinddom of Belgium. Hayashi said Japan is set to work with Belgium in a wide variety of sectors from hydrogen energy to digital transformation. Princess Astrid is scheduled to meet Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida later on Monday.

She will then visit Nagoya, Osaka and Kyoto along with around 600 business representatives.
