



Japanese Foreign Minister Kamikawa Yoko met with Nepal’s President Paudel at the President House in Nepal on Sunday.
During the meeting, she said that Japan is worried about the climate change impacts and all should collaborate to protect the Himalayas of Nepal and other countries. On the occasion, the Nepal’s President said Nepal is very much concerned about protecting the Himalayas and sources of water to save the earth and urged the carbon-emitting developed nations to become sensitive for the climate change impacts reduction.
During her visit to Nepal, she also paid a courtesy call on the Prime Minister of Nepal at latters’ office. The meeting delved around matters of bilateral concern. She departed on Sunday night. She is the fourth Japanese foreign minister to come to Nepal since the two countries established diplomatic relations.
