Japanese and South Korean ministers hold talks

Japan's Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs Takeo Mori met South Korea's First vice Foreign Minister on Tuesday, ahead of a trilateral meeting with the U.S on Wednesday.

Earlier on Tuesday, Takeo met United States Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman, who is visiting Japan to demonstrate U.S. commitment to the region and their allies Japan and South Korea. Sherman also had a bilateral meeting with South Korean First vice Foreign Minister Cho Hyundong later on Tuesday.
