Japan Heidi giant swing aims to attract Tourists

A Japanese mountain Iwatake resort aims to attract tourists with a 10-meter swing. A ceremony to mark the opening of the swing was held on Friday. The giant swing is in the village of Hakuba in Nagano Prefecture, at an altitude of about 1,100 meters.

A device is used to pull up the swing to set it in motion. Visitors riding the swing enjoyed views of the autumn foliage and snow-capped mountains. A woman from Chiba Prefecture said the giant swing was the main part of her trip. And she wants to bring her children next time as they would enjoy the place and the beautiful view.
