Israel FoodTech Startups at BKK Roadshow

A group of Israeli food technology startups showcased their innovative solutions at a roadshow in Bangkok on Friday, aiming to foster collaboration with Thai companies and drive innovation in the food industry.

The event, hosted by the Israeli Embassy in Thailand, marked the second annual FoodTech Roadshow in the country. Israel is renowned for its robust food tech ecosystem, driven by the nation’s need to ensure food security in a desert climate.

The country has developed cutting-edge technologies to address challenges such as water scarcity and limited arable land. These technologies have the potential to revolutionize the global food industry, which is valued at over $8 trillion. The Israeli Embassy emphasized that Thailand is a gateway to Southeast Asia and a growing Asian market.
