Iran plans to hold Gulf nation foreign ministers meeting

Iran said it plans to hold a foreign ministers' meeting with other Gulf nations to brief them on its negotiations with Oman over the Strait of Hormuz.  Iran's foreign ministry says the gathering will take place in Oman on Monday. A report carried by Iran's Tasnim News Agency on Saturday quoted an informed source as saying the country and Oman reached a "final agreement" late last month. 

The source noted that the "understanding" establishes specific details for new entry and exit routes through the strait. The source added that it is set to be announced soon in the presence of foreign ministers from Gulf nations. Oman has made no announcements on the deal.
