Invitational Boxing Competition: Kachin State CM attended the opening ceremony

Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan, along with State Government ministers and state-level departmental officials, on October 20, attended and opened basic hotel service training courses, an ASEAN-recognized National Trainer Training course, and the 2025 State Chief Minister's Cup Invitational Boxing Competition. They also donated food supplies to the Grace Childcare Orphanage.

First, the State Chief Minister and officials attended the opening ceremonies of three basic hotel service training courses for local youth including Front Office, Housekeeping, and Food & Beverage Service and the ASEAN National Trainer Training course, held at the AGAPE Hotel hall in Tatkone (Injangdon -North) Ward, Myitkyina. The Chief Minister delivered opening addresses at the event.

Subsequently, the State Chief Minister and officials attended the opening ceremony of the 2025 State Chief Minister's Cup Invitational Boxing Tournament, held at the indoor stadium in the Myitkyina People's Sports Ground. This tournament is organized to foster the emergence of new generation youth boxers. He presented 3 million kyats in support funds for the boxing tournament and awarded certificates of honor to the boxing committee officials and those who assisted and supported the event. He watched the opening match of the boxing tournament and presented honorary cash prizes to the winning boxer.

Afterwards, the State Chief Minister and officials visited the Grace Childcare Orphanage in Nang Kwe Village, in Section (5). The State Chief Minister donated 10 bags of rice, 10 visses of cooking oil, and eggs for the 32 orphaned children being cared for at the orphanage. He also coordinated with state-level departmental officials to address the orphanage's electricity needs. It is reported that they warmly greeted and encouraged the children and staff at the orphanage.
