Investment Opportunities: Meeting with the Korean delegation

Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations Dr. Wah Wah Maung who also serves as the Vice Chairperson of Myanmar Investment Commission received a delegation led by Mr. Choi Shin-iL from Korea-Myanmar Research Association at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw on 29th October.

During the meeting, the Union Minister expressed her appreciations for the significant contributions and assistance of the Republic of Korea in Myanmar’s sector-wise development, highlighting the successful Saemaul Undong Model Village Development Project.

Underscoring Myanmar’s active collaboration with international countries in promoting investment, the Union Minister conveyed her acknowledgment for Korean investors in Myanamr’s CMP clothing industries. For his side, Mr. Choi Shin-iL delivered the growing interest of Korean investors in Myanmar’s economic sector, investment opportunities and assitance. The meeting also focused on potential investments from ROK in near future.
