Investment in Magway: Magway Region Investment Committee held its meeting

Magway Region Investment Committee held its meeting at the Regional Government Office on August 1st.

Chief Minister U Tint Lwin, in his capacity as the committee chairman, attended the meeting, and made a speech. He emphasized the importance of producing high-quality goods and developing oil crops like sesame and sunflower to reduce cooking oil imports. He encouraged the use of modern oil processing machines and support for MSMEs under the Investment Law to boost local production, job creation, and the country's GDP.

The committee also approved one foreign investment in a manufacturing business worth 0.965 million US Dollar, which will create 19 jobs. It is learnt that the interested investors can contact the Magway Region Investment Committee Office in Magway City for more details.
