International Cooperation: Receiving the delegations of ICRC and UNDCO

Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe received Resident Representative of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Mr. Arnaud de Baecque at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday.

During the meeting, they exchanged views on matters related to ICRC’s activities in Myanmar. Likewise, the Union Minister received Mr. David William McLachlan-Karr, Regional Director for Asia-Pacific of the UN Development Coordination Office (UNDCO) in Bangkok. They exchanged views on continued cooperation on the development and humanitarian matters between the Government of Myanmar and the United Nations.
